The SUP Connection is proud to be part of the San Diego community and is happy to support it in as many ways as possible. We have been a part of several local charity events this year and look forward to many more. A short list of charity events we were happy to contribute to this year include:
Urban Surf 4 Kids is a unique outreach organization that works with orphan and foster kids. Using water sports as a catalyst, we teach kids how to first have fun and then give back to their communities and neighborhoods through local service projects.
Together4Hope is a health and wellness fundraising event that gives you the opportunity to participate in a 5K walk/run, 2-day/40 mile challenge or take part in the newly added Stand Up Paddleboard course. Join us on September 26 to kick off this wellness weekend featuring a scenic bay-front 5K, kids activities and a lively wellness marketplace with over 30 vendors. This is the perfect opportunity to learn, enjoy demonstrations, treat yourself to healthy samples and fund raise for cancer research.
This event supports United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego County, an organization committed to serving the citizens of San Diego County affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities (and their families) with vital and innovative services since 1958.
The best dog surfing competition in the world! This event raises awareness & vital funding for orphan pets at Helen Woodward Animal Center.
